CGL Charity Auction to Benefit Childhood Cancer Patients During the Pandemic

The honest truth is that children undergoing cancer treatments are immunocompromised, making them one of the groups most susceptible to COVID-19. But for children with cancer, treatment can’t stop – despite the pandemic. Many families are facing even more economic uncertainty during this time.

Cancer Gets Lost wanted to help Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation provide critical services for these families. So we hosted a smaller online charity auction – and 100% of all proceeds from this auction were donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation COVID-19 Emergency Fund; every cent raised!

In addition, around the same time we hosted a series of Instagram Live interviews with LOST cast and friends to celebrate the 10 year series finale anniversary, raising additional funds for ALSF.

The total CGL raised and then donated (auction + interview sessions combined), thanks to the kindness of fans around the world: $5,625!

We continue to be so grateful for your support of essential cancer non-profits. Thank you again!
