CGL LOST Fan Meet-Up in Hawaii!
As most of you know, LOST composer Michael Giacchino is conducting a “LOST: We Have to Go Back” concert with the Hawai’i Symphony Orchestra on Oahu (HI) on April 27.
Cancer Gets Lost decided that we wanted to bring fans together who have traveled from all over the world to be in Hawaii for this event, so we are hosting a LOST fan meet-up the day before the concert (April 26)!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the 2024 CGL LOST Fan Meet-up in Honolulu will take place at THE series finale church (the Sacred Hearts Academy chapel)!
CGL is deeply honored that they are allowing us to host a gathering of kind LOST fans in the chapel, which is a sacred space on their campus. The Academy itself is a Catholic private college preparatory school for girls.
So if you’re in or coming to town for the concert and want to meet fellow LOST fans at the very best location possible – please join us between 4pm-6pm on April 26!
NOTE: we MUST adhere to that exact 2-hour time slot and respect the Academy staff’s time. No one from the CGL meet-up will be permitted entry into the chapel before or after the allotted time on April 26.
LOCATION & TRANSPORTATION
Sacred Hearts Academy

For those staying in the Waikiki area, note that this venue is not within walking distance.
**We strongly recommend that you take a Lyft/Uber or public transportation, as the Academy reserves their lot and parking spots on Friday afternoon for student and staff after-school activities! They recommend that you find street parking if you do need to drive there.
Please keep in mind that CGL will ONLY have access to the chapel from 4pm-6pm, so plan accordingly! Because there will be a lot of traffic on a Friday evening in Honolulu.
IMPORTANT NOTES
We must respect the chapel and surrounding school grounds.
No food or beverages are allowed inside of the chapel.
Photos and videos will be allowed outside and inside of the chapel. If possible, we will try to arrange a group photo!
There is a maximum capacity of 300 people inside of the chapel at all times during our 2-hour gathering. We do not expect that many fans to show up, but if they do – we will organize a line outside, and everyone can patiently wait for spaces to open up inside. Don’t worry, we will make sure that everyone gets the opportunity to sit in the pews and take photos, etc.!
Please try not to arrive much earlier than 4pm; be aware that there will be school activities taking place on campus at that time. We ask that you do not line up in front of the chapel, and wait patiently off campus or in the parking lot (out of the way of cars) until we are allowed to let folks start to enter the grounds!
** It may be around 85 degrees that day. Please wear sunscreen and/or a hat, as you may have to briefly wait in a line to enter both the campus grounds and the chapel!
Please do not call the Academy for any reason relating to our meet-up. If you have any questions, contact CGL instead!
And make sure to pick up a Cancer Gets Lost wristband, LOST keychain or Squirrel Baby on Board sign from us while you’re there (one item per person please, while supplies last)!

Yourselves..and tissues. Seriously. I’ve been lucky enough to visit this chapel before, and no matter what religion you identify with – as a dedicated LOST fan, it will be a spiritual experience that you will remember for the rest of your life!

For fans around the globe that are not able to join CGL for this meetup, we will miss you! But we ask that you please do not yell at or blame us if your own schedules and travel plans prevent you from attending this meet-up. Yes, this already happened, even before we announced the location. We are just a tiny non-profit cancer charity fundraising org that is VERY lucky to have secured this space, and will be respecting the exact hours we are allotted there. Thank you!

You don’t necessarily need to RSVP to CGL to attend this fan meet-up at The Church on April 26 in Honolulu. HOWEVER, we would love to get a somewhat accurate estimate of attendees in advance, if possible! We are 108% over the moon and excited about this LOST fan meet-up at Sacred Hearts Academy, and are looking forward to seeing so many of you next month in Hawaii! CGL 2024 LOST Online Charity Auction
FYI, shortly after this meet-up and concert - in honor of the show’s debut 20 years ago, CGL is hosting a massive LOST Online Charity Auction from May 11-18! It will feature 200-300 rare & signed LOST collectibles, and ALL auction proceeds are being donated to the children’s brain cancer charity Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. We donate every cent raised.
