CGL to Host New England Premiere of “Getting LOST” Documentary!

Cancer Gets Lost is thrilled to announce that we are hosting the New England Premiere of Getting LOST next month, just outside of Boston MA!

CGL is deeply honored to not only have the opportunity to screen the documentary locally (we are located in the Boston area), but to also be featured in the film itself. Shout-out of massive gratitude to Director Taylor Morden, and Producers Emily Morden and Ralph D. Apel for both reasons!

We’d also like to thank our good friend Christina E. for helping to make this happen in her hometown!

SCREENING DETAILS

  • November 9 and 10, 2024

  • Warwick Cinemas: 123 Pleasant Street in Marblehead, MA (16 miles from Boston, on the coast!)

  • THREE screenings:

Sat Nov 9 at 4pm and 7:30pm (both screenings are SOLD OUT!)

Sun Nov 10 at 2:30pm (tickets still available!)

  • Tickets are on sale NOW; seating is VERY limited – make sure to purchase yours before they sell out!

  • Before each screening, CGL will be hosting a Live Charity Auction featuring one rare LOST item or package! ALL auction proceeds will be donated directly to the Lymphoma Research Foundation (in honor of my brother, who is bravely battling a rare blood cancer right now).

  • And after each screening, we will also be hosting a film Q&A!

OTHER LOGISTICS

There is a parking lot behind the cinema, as well as unmetered street parking nearby. If you live locally and want to take public transportation, the MBTA stops very close by. Taking a Lyft or Uber is obviously an option too if you don’t want to deal with parking!

The Beacon Restaurant and Bar is attached to the theater, and it will be open from 12pm to 12am. The kitchen closes at 9:30pm but the bar is open until midnight, FYI.

You’re welcome to arrive early and stay late; we will be hanging out in the lobby an hour or two before the first screening and after the second screening on Saturday, and before/after on Sunday too!

We will have CGL wristbands and LOST keychains for all who are able to attend. One per person, while supplies last. :)

UPDATE: if you have one, bring a small poster tube! CGL will also be handing out LOST posters to everyone that attends the screenings! They each measure 11 x 17 inches.

Please follow us @CancerGetsLost on Twitter, Instagram and Threads for any updates, as well as @GettingLOSTdoc!

DONATIONS TO THE LRF

If you win an item in one of our 3 CGL Live Charity Auctions at the New England screenings, HERE is a direct link to the Lymphoma Reasearch Foundation’s CGL page where you can make your donation in the winning amount. Thank you so much!

Outside of the live auctions - for those of you that are interested in making a contribution to the LRF in any amount for any reason, this is also the link for you to use. We appreciate the consideration!

We hope to see you at the screenings, New England LOST fans!
